Each month, MCES faculty and staff nominate a teacher and staff member who they feel has gone above and beyond to impact others positively. Those individuals are presented with the “Apple Award” and recognized for going above the call of duty each day.

Girls on the Run is now working at Mitchell County Elementary School to help girls learn all about how to be a friend and how to overcome barriers with effective communication.
