Even though our "official" summer school has now ended, summer learning can continue at-home utilizing our Footseps2Brilliance reading program! The Virtual Summer School and Summer Climb resources are available for the next five weeks for all students in PreK - Grade 3. If you need your child's individual login information, it is available for pick-up at the MCBOE, located at 108 South Harney Street. All students attending the Mitchell County School System's Summer School Program from May 24 - June 25 received their login information on Friday. Click on title for more details.

The Mitchell County Board of Education has begun the search for a new superintendent. A survey has been developed by the Georgia School Boards Association to help the board better understand the wishes of the community as decisions are made during the superintendent search. The survey is very short and is being provided to the community to get your ideas regarding the qualities you feel are important for our next superintendent to possess.
