MCES Raises $1100 for Hoops for Heart Hoops for Heart is a national fundraising program jointly sponsored by SHAPE America and the American Heart Association. HFH promotes physical activity, heart healthy living, and community service. AHA programs teach students valuable lessons that will last a lifetime.
MCES Hosts Its Last APTT Meeting Mitchell County Elementary School hosted its last APTT Meeting for the 2016-2017 school year. Parents came out to learn about foundational skills in Math and Reading that their students were struggling or excelling in at school. The parents were given activities to use at home to help their children practice the different skills.
