Mitchell County Elementary School hosted its last APTT Meeting for the 2016-2017 school year. Parents came out to learn about foundational skills in Math and Reading that their students were struggling or excelling in at school. The parents were given activities to use at home to help their children practice the different skills. Students whose parents attended the meeting were entered into a drawing for Easter baskets. In 2nd grade, Jordan Noguera and Destiny Hayward won the Easter basket. For 3rd Grade Roderick White and Kamyia Knight won the Easter basket. 4th grade Easter basket winners were Daniel Lee and Kennedei Wimberly. All of the parents who attended the meeting were entered into a drawing for $25 gift cards. Three gift cards were given away to parents. Mitchell County Elementary School Faculty and Staff would like to thank the parents who participated in APTT this year and helped their children master foundational skills.
