About Us

Mitchell County Elementary School, formerly North Mitchell County Elementary School, is a public elementary school located in Baconton, Georgia. It is the home of students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.

NMCES was completed in August 2010; however, students began classes that fall. North Mitchell County Elementary School was renamed to Mitchell County Elementary School during the summer of 2016.

Mitchell County Elementary School's faculty and staff strive daily to challenge, inspire, and lead their students to becoming successful citizens in this ever changing global environment.
